Computer-based exams receive a notification within 48 hours. Your official score report, which includes domain-by-domain performance, is available through your NHA online account.
Both are respected medical assistant credentials but from different organizations (NHA vs. AAMA). The CCMA has a heavier clinical focus; the CMA leans more administrative. Difficulty is comparable; consistent practice testing is key for either.
Yes. The NHA offers a live remote proctoring (LRP) option. You'll need a laptop or desktop with Google Chrome, a webcam and microphone, and a distraction-free testing space.
You can retake up to three times, with a 30-day waiting period between each attempt. A third failure requires a one-year wait.
The CCMA is issued by the NHA; the CMA is issued by the AAMA. Both are nationally recognized. Some employers prefer one over the other, so check job postings in your area before choosing.
