Here are some common questions that you might have.

What is included in a Stepful program tuition?
Our tuition includes online instructor led classes on Zoom, access to our online classroom with practice quizzes and flashcards, National Healthcareer Association certification exam prep, and dedicated 1:1 coaching to help find you a full time job.
What tuition payment options are available?
Students may pay tuition upfront or in installments over the course of their class. Our goal is to make getting certified in healthcare as affordable as possible.
What are the requirements to enroll in your medical assistant program?
All you need is a government issued ID, a copy of your high school or GED diploma, and a stable internet connection.
What medical assistant certifications do you prepare me for?
Our classes prepare you to test for your National Healthcareer Association’s medical assistant online or in person.
Is the program online or in-person?
The medical assistant program is 100% online. The medical assistant program is followed by an in-person unpaid internship. Stepful has partnerships with clinics across the nation and will do its best to find a clinic in a convenient location for the student.
Do you help graduates find a job?
Yes! We help graduates who successfully complete our program and pass the National HealthCareer certification exam find healthcare jobs in their local communities.
How does your money back guarantee work?

Stepful offers a money-back guarantee to ensure your satisfaction with our program. Here's how it works:

If you enroll in Stepful’s Career Services and complete your externship requirements but do not receive a full-time healthcare job offer within six months of actively working with your Career Coach, you're eligible for a full tuition refund (minus the $59 registration fee).

To qualify for the refund, you must:

  • Successfully complete Stepful’s Career Services Program, including passing your national certification exam, meeting online course requirements, and fulfilling clinical externship hours (if applicable).
  • Complete your externship and have it approved by your Career Services Coach.
  • Actively collaborate with your Career Services Coach in your job search for a continuous six-month period.
  • Not decline any qualified job offers received during the job coaching program.
Do you have a partnership with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) ?
Yes! We are partnered with the NHA. All our graduates are eligible to take the NHA certifications once they successfully complete the program.
Where can I work after completing the program?
You will be nationally certified after obtaining your NHA certification and will be able to work in every US state with the exception of Washington & South Carolina.
