At Stepful, we're proud to offer need-based tuition grants that help make our programs more accessible. Most applicants paying for Stepful out of pocket qualify for grants that significantly lower the cost of tuition.
Requirements:
Eligible for a Stepful program
Plan to pay out of pocket for tuition (full or in installments)
Getting Started:
Choose your Stepful program
Complete admissions application
*Stepful does not participate in federal financial aid programs such as FAFSA. However, we offer grants and payment plans. Residents of certain states are ineligible to receive grants.

Air Force CA Funding

For active duty, Reserve, or National Guard Airmen
Requirements:
Must have a 5-skill level in your AFSC
Must be in good standing and have passed your last fitness test
Need supervisor approval and an approved credentialing goal
Complete the program while on active duty
Getting Started:
Fill out one of our free applications: Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician. When you reach the question about military affiliations, be sure to select Air Force Soldier.

Military Spouses MyCAA Funding

For spouses of active duty service members (E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2, O-1 to O-2)
Requirements:
Your spouse must be on Title 10 military orders
You must complete your program while your spouse is on orders
Haven’t already used the full MyCAA benefit
Getting Started:
Fill out one of our free applications: Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician. When you reach the question about military affiliations, be sure to select Air Force Soldier.

Army CA Funding

For active duty, reserve, or National Guard Army soldiers
Requirements:
Must be in good standing and have completed Basic Combat Training
Must have enough service time left to finish the program
Requires command approval
Ranks: Enlisted, warrant officers, and officers can participate
Getting Started:
Fill out one of our free applications: Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician. When you reach the question about military affiliations, be sure to select Army Soldier.

Local Workforce Board Funding

For low-income, unemployed, or underemployed adults (17+)
Requirements:
U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
Not currently enrolled in high school
Must be authorized to work in the United States
May need to show advanced training, English skills, or digital literacy

Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship

Available to Michigan residents who graduated from a Michigan high school in 2023 or later
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent from Michigan, 2023 or later
No associate’s or bachelor’s degree yet
Haven’t used this scholarship before
Getting Started:
Create a Michigan Student Aid Portal account, submit your application, and contact us once approved.

Employer-Sponsored Grant

Many employers offer workforce development or tuition assistance programs to help employees advance their careers, and some even have dedicated support for healthcare training if you work in that field.

If you're currently employed, you may be able to use these benefits to cover part or all of your Stepful tuition
Requirements:
Check with your HR department or manager to see if your company offers education reimbursement or career development benefits.
Getting Started:
Chat with your HR representative or manager to discuss whether your company would sponsor your Stepful education.
Ask your company whether they will pay upfront or if you will receive reimbursement after you complete your Stepful program.
Fill out the Stepful Application for the program of your choice.
If your employer is paying upfront, you can request an invoice by emailing us at hello@stepful.com.
