Graduate from High School or Complete Your GED
To become a licensed pharmacy technician in Kentucky, you must first graduate from high school or complete your GED. Furthermore, you cannot have any criminal felonies. The Kentucky State Board of Pharmacy requires students to be at least 18 years old before pursuing certification and licensure.

Pass Your Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam
To launch your career as a pharmacy technician in Kentucky, passing a national certification exam is the initial step. You must complete either the (PTCE) or the (ExCPT) to demonstrate your knowledge and competency in the field. Equally, 75% of our dedicated students pass their national exams without difficulty due to the curriculum we have in place. Once you pass your exam, you must register with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.

A student who cancels before the first week of class receives a refund with tuition paid to date with the exception of the $59 non-refundable registration fee. Thereafter, the student who cancels receives a prorated refund.
